LIMONCELLO VODKA COOLER

Image
LIMONCELLO VODKA COOLER Limoncello Vodka Cooler. Sweet Limoncello, a hit of vodka and lots of ice make this the perfect summer cooler for those hot summer days and nights. YAY!! Its the weekend! We’re suppose to have rain all weekend but the weather man seems to be wrong ALOT lately!! So fingers crossed he is this weekend to. And I plan on drinking a few of these Limoncello Vodka Coolers which would make the day sunny regardless!! Limoncello is a lemon liqueur made in southern Italy. It’s lemony and sweet and can easily be sipped on its own. I happen to love frosted glass and most Limoncello comes in a frosted glass bottle which of course adds to the appeal. I wanted a cocktail that wasn’t overly sweet so in with the Vodka. The two together are bright, refreshing and that color come on!! My favorite thing about the Limoncello Vodka Cooler is that its so simple to make. Equal parts Limoncello to Vodka and lots of ice!! A little lemon garnish doesn’t hurt either, it adds some fancy schma...

Oreo Delight with Chocolate Pudding

Image
Oreo Delight with Chocolate Pudding Oreo delight, such a great summer time dessert. It is so fluffy and delicious. Iread an funny article in local paper the other day that said, “The Way You Eat Your Oreo Says Something About You.” According to a survey of over 2000 Oreo lovers, psychologists, and food writers apparently there are three types of Oreo lovers. Dunkers tend to be energetic, adventurous, and extremely social. 87% of dunkers say milk is their liquid of choice for dunking. Twisters — tend to be emotional, sensitive, artistic, and trendy. Biters are easy going, self-confident, and optimistic. The survey also discovered that more women tend to be dunkers while men tend to be biters. And, Democrats tend to twist, Republicans tend to dunk! And What about me ?? (I tend to be in first two types) – Twist Oreo apart, eat the side without the icing and drink milk. Then I lick off the icing and drink more milk, and then I eat the last part and finish my cup of milk. I personally t...

PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SLOPPY JOES PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SLOPPY JOES WILL MAKE YOU FORGET YOUR CHILDHOOD CANNED SAUCE MEMORIES AND MAKE YOU LOVE SLOPPY JOES AGAIN. THE BEST EVER GRILLED CHICKEN MARINADE

Image
The BEST EVER Grilled Chicken Marinade Happy Wednesday! It is JUNE! School is out for Summer and I could not be more excited. We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Birmingham this past week to visit family and to watch my 6 year old niece perform 4 dances in her recital. (including a duet and a SOLO) She did amazing and I was so glad we were able to be there to watch! We stayed with my mother in law and as always she had delicious food waiting on us. We went thrift-ing (my favorite thing!) and got tons of school clothes for my kiddos. We spent Saturday and Sunday with my side of the family and got to go with my sister and her family to church and then to see Captain Underpants movie after. (Yes, I fell asleep. at both. Don’t judge) So now we are back home and my oldest started her two a day middle school workouts for volleyball and basketball and we also started our Summer ‘homeschooling‘ that we do every year. This is one of my favorite things about Summer. I do not have th...

Raspberry Cheesecake Bars

Image
Raspberry Cheesecake Bars I should really call these Raspberry Cheesecake Bars with Copious Amounts of Fresh Raspberries Not to Mention a Shortbread Crust. (That’s not too long is it??) These bars are so rich and creamy and I would say you can only have one, but I’m pretty sure I ate half the pan while shooting, so… Are you a white pants person? Like, check yes or no, do you own white pants right now: √ yes √ no I just feel like it kinda says something about you (something like, “I’m female” or maybe “I’m self confident” or even just “I’m extra tan.”) I’m firmly in the no-white-pants category. “It’s too impractical!” I can hear my mother saying. “What if you sat in something??” But Stitch Fix sent me white pants. I use Stitch Fix because I finally decided to outsource my fashion choices. I’m always making poor ones, so why not get a stylist to do it? BECAUSE THEY SEND YOU WHITE PANTS, THAT’S WHY. They came in the box and my first thought was NO. But then I convinced myself to have ...

Packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients like ginger, turmeric, garlic. BEST SOUP EVER! I’ve been a soup lover my entire life. Tony would tell you that it’s true because he’s the one stuck eating my delicious soup recipes that I bust out weekly. This recipe came to me a few weeks ago after I came down with the WORST cold ever. I was on the verge of getting better, then all of a sudden I took a turn for the worst and spent an entire weekend sneezing, coughing and barely able to breathe. I know MANY of you have been struggling with cold and flu season this year too, so I thought why not make an epic chicken soup that you can come back to year after year? Whenever I’m sick I love a good, soul soothing soup. In fact, did you know that soup can actually help to reduce the length of your cold? Amazing news, because I bet this will b...
